It's All in the Details!

They say "It's all in the details." So we've got those covered! First, there are our deluxe air-conditioned motorcoaches, equipped wtih restrooms and video systems for viewing movie favorites. We carefully select our drivers, too -- they're friendly, experienced, and maintain excellent safety records. Next we book accommodations in first-class hotels, and reservations for great eating. It's the way your family would travel, except we head for sights that parents never get to see! (Although parents often tell us they wish they could come along!) It's the adventure of a teenage lifetime!

At Coleman Family Camps, we have an important difference: We build a teen travel program with the added perspective of being able to create real camp spirit. When Coleman Cross Country heads out, our program benefits from the camp-like supportiveness of our environment. We take the best ingredients of a traditional camp experience and bring them with us for an unbeatable feeling of spirit!

The whole group becomes a community, sometimes forming into smaller "neighborhoods" that keep the activities specific to teens' varied interests. For example, when we head to a theme park, we organize clusters that reflect our travelers' attitudes towards the rides...the Roller Coaster Fanatics and the Fanatics-About-Other-Kinds-of-Rides! That way, everyone spends the maximum amount of time doing their favorite activities. Each group of no more than ten teens travels everywhere with a counselor...and it becomes a special kind of family feeling!
