Coleman Cross Country is Part of Coleman Family Camps

We are an entire family dedicated to providing special camp experiences. Under the banner of Coleman Family Camps, we operate Coleman Country Day Camp and Coleman Cross Country.

We hope we've helped you to discover a great way for teens to set out for a season full of new adventures and to Discover the Planet. When the souvenirs you bring home include new feelings of belonging, connections to a community of new friends, and a stronger sense of self-reliance, then you know that the cool places and the hot pizza were just the beginning!

Our Cross Country program is designed to be combined with Colenman Country Day Camp to give your child a memorable summer customized to his or her age and interests. We like to think of it as Coleman Continuity -- whatever age, whatever stage, campers and parents alike can feel safe -- physically and emotionally.

The Coleman family is deeply involved in the American Camp Association, a national organization that is the knowledge center of the camp profession. Marla serves as the ACA president and acts as a spokesperson for the summer camp experience. George is an active ACA volunteer, and -- by Governor Pataki's appointment -- also serves on the New York State Department of Health's Camp Safety Advisory Council. Jordan is a frequent speaker at ACA conferences, as well as a Standards Visitor for the organization. Ross, a teacher, is also involved in the year-round operation of Coleman Family Camps and is a committed volunteer for the American Camping Association.
